The MoMo Barcelona nomination period for the MobileMonday Global Peer Awards 2007 of February 12 at Espacio Movistar is now closed.

From now, the MoMo Barcelona registered members can all start the vote for our finalist from the list of nominees below (congratulations to all!)

Local start-ups that have presented at MobileMonday Barcelona during 2006 received a nomination by default:

On Jan 31 we will announce the winner who will join the other finalists to present their company product/service at the Global Peer Awards.

There is also a focus on the audiovisual sector, on information and communication technologies and biomedical and energy engineering. Opportunities exist for companies to communicate, through channels such as the ‘Asociacion de Empresas 22@Network’ (the 22@Network Business Partnership) which hosts regular networking events. The floor usage of 22@Barcelona is diverse, with areas set aside for residences, catering, hotels and public spaces.

Some projects of reference are the spaces of sector location the Media building will offer to innovative companies; 22@Barcelona contribution to Accel programme, that develops expansion plans for technology– based companies; the programmes giving support to the growth of companies and help to internationalization such as the creation of the international incubator in the Landing programme framework for the arrival of business initiatives; the 22@Interface Building, aimed to fulfil the needs of ICT small and medium– sized companies; future spaces of incubation and expansion of biocorporations; services aimed at facilitating the financing of innovative business initiatives.

Vote for the most innovative local Mobile Start-up Company of 2006!

The official Spanish nomination registration is now open for companies to become a nominee and make it to the final of the MobileMonday Global Peer Awards 2007 in Barcelona on February 12 at Espacio Movistar. Any registered member of MobileMonday Barcelona can nominate a local start-up innovating different product / services / applications / technologies.

The nomination period will end January, 24 at 00:00 h. On day 25 we will publish the list of nominated innovative start-ups, and after that point all the community members will be able to vote for the Barcelona finalist at the Global Peer Awards.
