The next Mobile Monday Barcelona on June 2, 2008 will be held at the Auditorium of Barcelona Activa and covers the topic Micromedia, exploring user-generated microblogging content and tools. The session will include Hector Milla from Balzac.TV, Tony Fish from AMF Ventures, Mireia Fontbernat from QIK and Alberto Tognazzi from the Movil Film Fest.

Héctor Milla, Founder Balzac.TV (Spain)
Héctor Milla is an entrepreneur of WebTV with Balzac.tv, a HD videoblog with multiplatform distribution and focused on the innovation segment. He was part of the team that launched “Cable i televisió de Catalunya” in 1996, the first cable operator in Catalunya. From 2000 to 2002 Héctor was responsible of R&D of Media Park enterprise and has been a consultant for complex projects in digital media, television and the internet. Since 2004, Héctor blogs and videoblogs about audiovisual innovation and television 2.0
Tony Fish, Founder AMF Ventures
Tony is an experienced, professionally qualified executive and an accomplished public speaker. Tony has worked on trends and global business issues with numerous organizations, and has particular expertise in the development of innovation through partnership. He has an excellent grasp of strategic and economic issues relating to growth businesses, and their patterns for survival. Tony features in the top 10 of ‘The Observer Guardian’ newspapers “The future 500 rising stars” Nov 2007. “Mobile Web 2.0” is Tony’s second book and provides a detailed strategic analysis of the changing relationships in mobile, media and retail as the markets move towards openness.
Mireia Fontbernat, Head of Marketing EMEA QIK
Mireia Fontbernat, first Qik employee in Europe, is responsible for marketing and growing Qik in EMEA. Previously, she was Marketing Director at Oblicore and, before that, spent over three years at Microsoft, as Head of Marketing for the Real-Time Collaboration group in EMEA, which included Live Meeting and Live (Office) Communications Server. Throughout her 15-year career, Mireia has also worked for PlaceWare (web conferencing), Regus and in the airline industry in various European countries. Mireia is originally from Barcelona. During her spare time she enjoys cinema, theatre, hiking and skiing.
Qik, the world’s leading live mobile video streaming platform, enables anyone to stream video live from their mobile phones to anywhere in the world. Alberto Tognazzi, Founder Movil Film Fest
Alberto has been a director, editor & postproducer in advertising during 15 years. In 2006 start his first project Web based. One of his projects has been chosen and show by SONAR 2007 as a piece of net art. In 2007 creates the Movil Film Fest, the greatest Mobile Short film Award in Spain in collaboration with El País, Cuatro, Nokia, Fnac and the Spanish Film Academy.
